Privacy

Built to work on your device.

Deen Routine is built to work almost entirely on your device: your prayer times, Quran progress, dhikr counts, bookmarks and preferences are stored locally and are not collected by us.

No account

Deen Routine does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, e-mail address or any other identifying information to use the app.

Location, only while in use

Choose your city, or let the app detect it once during setup. Location is used solely for prayer times and qibla, and never in the background.

Nothing that tracks you

No advertising networks, analytics trackers or social media integrations. Reminders are scheduled by your device, not by a server.

Questions

Good to know before you download.

Is Deen Routine free?

Yes. Prayer times, adhan, the full Quran with recitation, dhikr, qibla and widgets are free with no account and no ads. Deen Routine Plus is an optional upgrade that adds routines and the Focus Shield, with weekly, monthly, yearly and lifetime options; the yearly plan starts with seven free days.

Which phones does it run on?

Deen Routine is built for iPhone, with home screen and lock screen widgets. An Android version is planned but not yet available.

How are prayer times calculated?

Locally on your phone, from your city or a one-time location check, using standard calculation methods such as Muslim World League, Umm Al-Qura, Egyptian, Karachi and North America, with Shafi or Hanafi Asr. Times keep working with no connection.

Does it play the adhan?

Yes. For each prayer you choose the full adhan, a quiet banner, or nothing, plus an optional heads-up a few minutes before. Reminders are scheduled by your phone, not by a server.

Can I read and listen to the Quran offline?

The full 604-page mushaf is on your phone, page by page or ayah by ayah, with translation, transliteration and tafsir. Recitation from eight reciters streams while you use the app, with word-level highlighting, and keeps playing in the background.

What does the Focus Shield do?

When it is time to pray, or while a routine you chose is running, the Focus Shield pauses the apps that pull you away and hands them back when the window ends. It uses Apple's Screen Time on your phone, so Deen Routine never learns which apps you chose.

What languages does the app support?

The app is available in English and Arabic, and the layout flips right to left for Arabic. Quran translations include English and Turkish, and the Arabic tafsir Al-Muyassar is bundled.

Do I need an account? What about my data?

No account, ever. Your prayer log, bookmarks, dhikr counts and settings stay on your phone. Location is used only while the app is open, and there are no analytics or advertising trackers.
